| Special Features of Our School |
The first school dedicated to design and photography in the Chubu Region
Nippon Designer Geijutsu Gakuin was founded as the first school dedicated to design and photography in the Chubu Region, and has successfully invited top-class creators in the region as its teachers since its early years. Our education, which places importance on the individuality and basic skills of each student, has produced a large number of graduates who deliver high performance to the industry. This is one reason why our graduates have a high reputation with companies.
Practical lessons from active professionals
The learning effect depends largely on teachers. Therefore, all our teachers are professionals who are active in the front lines of industry and make use of their actual experiences gained from industry. Our teachers also support the job-search activities of our students.
Many students have won awards while in school
In our curriculum, it is essential to participate in an external competition. At the competition, which is for both professionals and amateurs, students can enhance their sensitivity through mutual stimulation with active creators.
Lessons to create work on one theme under the guidance of many teachers
The work created while in school can be used as an important instrument to make an appeal in the job-hunting activities. At our school, students create work on one theme, and receive guidance from many teachers on diverse aspects. Through such activities, students can acquire completeness and creative skills that will be evaluated highly by professionals.
